Internships
The American Indian Chamber of Commerce of New Mexico (AICCNM) offers hands-on internship opportunities for students and emerging professionals interested in business, economic development, and tribal affairs. Interns play an important role in supporting the Chamber’s mission by assisting with events, communications, member outreach, research, and community engagement projects.
Through mentorship and real-world experience, interns gain valuable insight into how Native and non-Native businesses work together to strengthen local economies across New Mexico. Internship projects may include:
-
Assisting with chamber events such as mixers, luncheons, and workshops
-
Supporting marketing and social media outreach
-
Conducting research on member businesses, tribal enterprises, and economic trends
-
Helping coordinate workforce development and youth engagement initiatives
-
Providing administrative and logistical support for Chamber operations
Whether you’re a college student seeking credit, a recent graduate looking to build experience, or a community member eager to get involved, AICCNM welcomes your interest.
